Nonprofit healthcare system Cempa Community Care opened the doors to its first-ever pharmacy.

Before opening, Cempa’s clinic patients had only been able to get their medications mail-ordered where they would sometimes not see a pharmacist.

Now both existing clientele and the general public can utilize their services on the third floor of 1000 East 3^rd Street in downtown Chattanooga.

Cempa staff was on the front lines of the pandemic where they provided COVID-19 testing in low-income areas.

For 30 years, the nonprofit that serves about 1,300 patients per year has been on a mission to champion healthy communities, provide affordable, compassionate and high-quality care.
